All students must carefully observe our dress code outlined on our registration sheets and on our website.

Parents and dancers alike: please practice respect. Rugcutterz strives to be a positive, welcoming environment for students, staff, and clients. Please do your part to make sure it stays that way!

Parents and/or guests are not permitted in the studio while classes are in session. It can be very distracting to our younger dancers, and many are uncomfortable with strangers watching. To keep all our dancers comfortable and happy dancing, we will only allow viewing to occur during our open house dates. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Parents are also asked to refrain from being in studio hallways. Only dancers are allowed to be in the studio hallways to reduce hallway congestion between the studios.

Due to severe allergies, Rugcutterz is a popcorn/nut safe zone within the studio. Please refrain from packing nut and popcorn related items in your child’s lunch and snack.

Items left behind after class will be immediately placed in the lost and found. Please check the lost and found regularly for any missing belongings. The lost and found box will be donated to charity at the end of each month. Rugcutterz Danz Artz is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

In order to keep our children safe, as well as visitors to the studio, we are asking all drivers to respect the rules of the parking lot. Arrows have been painted on the ground indicating the proper flow of cars. To exit the parking lot, drivers MUST drive around the entire building. There is ample parking in front of the studio as well as both sides of the building and at the back of the building. There are also additional parking spots on the street and vehicles are also allowed to park in the parking lot of 171 Corstate Ave.

All students are expected to attend classes regularly and be punctual.

All students are expected to treat the studio’s property and the possessions of all individuals with respect, care, and consideration.

All students are expected to personally display and actively encourage positive behaviour.

There will be no tolerance for the use of profanity, fighting, bullying, theft, and vandalism.

Students are asked to refrain from using social networking tools to talk about other dancers.

Parents/Guardians are requested to call the school if their child will be absent from dance class.

If there is a concern that needs to be discussed, please meet with the front receptionist to arrange a meeting or phone conference.

Bare feet are not permitted outside the classroom.

In keeping with our efforts to provide a healthy environment for all of our dancers, smoking is not permitted on Rugcutterz Danz Artz property.

NO Food or Drink is permitted anywhere except in the lunchroom at all times. This includes the lobby, the change rooms, studios, and washrooms. The only exception to this is a student is allowed to have water only in the studio.

All jewellery must be removed before any class.

All parents certify that their child is in good physical condition and is able to participate fully in this program. All current medical conditions requiring medication are outlined on the Application Form. All parents fully understand the inherent risk involved in the physical activity of dancing and therefore release school Rugcutterz Danz Artz and its teachers from any liability in case of accident or injury.
