Rose Theatre, Brampton
The dress rehearsal allows the students to become familiar with the auditorium and feel comfortable with their performance, costume(s) and being on stage, especially for the younger performers. The dress rehearsal is extremely important for our performers; therefore we ask that all students be in attendance.
We run an organized and timely dress rehearsal. We ask that families arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled dress rehearsal time and proceed to the Rehearsal Hall. During the dress rehearsal, students will take their group photo and become familiar with performing on stage within an auditorium. The dress rehearsal will last approximately 30 minutes for each group.
For any students wishing to have an individual photo taken outside of their group photo, a sitting fee of $5.00 must be paid to the photographer in order for the individual photo to be taken.
The front desk will aid in collecting this fee prior to picture day.
Rugcutterz Danz Artz is looking forward to showcasing another amazing season of dance onstage with you.
Rugcutterz will be hosting 3 recital performances:
Recital Dates: Friday June 12 and Saturday June 13, 2020

If your child is dancing in more than one routine, please make sure they arrive in their first performance costume and have all the necessary costumes and shoes, clearly labelled along with them.
Dancers and additional costumes must be checked in to the Rose Theatre 1 hour prior to their first performance. Dancers should arrive in their first costume, with hair and make-up already done. Proceed to the check-in counter and sign your dancer(s) in. Your child will be available for pick-up after they have performed their last routine or you may choose to leave them until the end of the show. Parent volunteers, as well as other staff members will provide supervision in the holding room.
No child will be allowed to roam the facility without parental supervision.
During the recital, children requiring help with costume changes will be helped by adult staff or volunteers. Parents wishing to help their own child may do so by meeting them in their assigned dressing room.
Parents please note, in the interest of safety, the person picking up your child(ren) may be asked to provide identification. No recreational dancer will be allowed to leave the holding room without a parent/guardian signing them out. This procedure has been put in place to ensure your child(ren)’s safety. It may get hectic when all parents are trying to sign in and sign out their children in all at once, but with a little patience from everyone, we will be able to ensure that all children are accounted for.
If you have purchased a ticket for your dancer, please go the holding room after your child’s last number, sign them out and then they may watch the rest of the performances with you. A television screen/monitor will be set up for those dancers remaining in the holding room so they can watch the other performances while waiting to be picked up.
